Sourced answers
The answer comes from the clinic's protocol, and shows where it came from
CHIRON answers the patient with the text the clinic approved and marks the source of each sentence.
Sourced answers
How it works
- The clinic approves the protocol and the knowledge base.
- The patient asks in the app or by message, at any hour.
- Each sentence of the answer carries the mark of the passage it came from.
- With no passage to support it, CHIRON says it doesn't know and the question goes to the team.
Built for the clinic's day to day
Unsupported sentences are shown as such
When a sentence has no passage behind it, it is marked in the conversation, and the team sees it.
Warning signs go to the team
When a report matches a warning sign in the protocol, CHIRON doesn't give guidance: it calls the team and steps out.
Unanswered questions become gaps
What the knowledge base couldn't answer is logged so the clinic can complete the protocol.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Where does CHIRON get its answers?
From the protocol and knowledge base the clinic approved. Content from the library starts as a draft and only comes in after a clinician approves it.
Does CHIRON diagnose?
No. It doesn't assess, measure or interpret clinical conditions. It organizes what the patient reports and answers with what the clinic wrote.
What happens when it doesn't know?
It says so, logs the question and takes it to the team. A made-up answer would be worse than none.
