From the chair to the follow-up, without losing the patient

Extractions, implants and orthodontics: instructions arrive at the time of each step, and Sunday's question reaches the team.

A conversation between the patient and CHIRON, answered from the clinic's protocol.

Day to day

What changes in the clinic's routine

  • Instructions nobody forgets

Gauze, ice, rinsing and diet go into the protocol once and reach the phone at the time of each one.

  • The photo before the check-up

The patient photographs the area on the agreed day, and the series stays in order in the chart.

  • Long treatments, followed

Orthodontics has no discharge date: follow-up moves by phases, with reminders and visits.

The questionDay 3 · 9:15pm

The pain comes back on day three, and it's a Sunday.

He asks whether he can double the painkiller. Changing a dose remains an act of whoever prescribes: CHIRON records the question with the time, answers with what your clinic wrote, and calls the team in when the report goes beyond what the protocol covered.

The recordDay 4 · 8:50am

The photo of the socket arrives before the appointment.

He takes it, the app checks the framing on the spot, and the series stays in chronological order in the chart. You are the one who reads the image.

Sharpness Lighting Framing

Photo recorded and sent to your team. Your team is who assesses it: the app does not analyze the image.

If the image comes out dark, blurry or badly framed, the app asks for another one right away: not three days later, when asking again no longer helps.

The follow-upDay 7 · 3:00pm

The check-up is booked by the patient himself.

No phone call and no queue at the front desk. And if he doesn't book it, the rule the clinic configured warns the team before the week turns into a month.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

  • Does it work for orthodontics, which has no discharge date?

Yes. Dentistry uses both modes: a dated procedure, like an extraction or implant, and ongoing follow-up, like orthodontics.

  • Which templates come ready?

Third molar extraction and single implant, currently in Portuguese. Both start as drafts and only go live after the dentist checks the values and approves.

  • Does CHIRON answer about painkiller doses?

It never changes a dose. Changing a dose belongs to whoever prescribes: CHIRON logs the question with the time, answers with what the clinic wrote and calls the team when the report goes outside the protocol.

  • Does the patient need to download an app?

No. They sign in through the phone's browser, by email, and can add a shortcut to the home screen.
