What is No-show rate?
No-shows divided by the appointments that should have happened in the period. An appointment canceled ahead of time doesn't count.
Why it matters
Every no-show is a slot that can't be sold again. And the wrong math hides no-shows: an appointment with no recorded outcome doesn't count as attended.
